At the dam with friends

Hi all,

Tyron and myself went to the dam with some friends and spent the day there. We met up at Jony’s house at around 1pm on Saturday. We just waited for Mubs to arrive and would be on our way.

I had been told that the house where we would stay in was posh but this place was amazing. We could see the dam from the house. Tyron thought the dam was the big swimming pool, what a laigh.

House description:

1. Had big rooms downstairs and upstairs
2. Entertainment area which included a bar, pool table, DSTV
3. A splash pool
4. Huge kitchen
5. Spectacular view
6. and so much more.

When we arrived, we had to first go to the local grocery store which was a Spar. We had to stock up on some food and of course some alcohol. The alcohol is always a must. When we returned, we swam as Tyron was nagging me the whole time to swim. We got into the pool and enjoyed ourselves for a while.

Jony and Mubs started preparing the food which was chicken, pork, potattoes and some veggies. I must say that they didn’t do a bad job. After eating we played poker. There were about 6 of us and Jony had taken his poker set which included the poker chips. It gave it a rather real feel to the game. We played with no money so each of us got the same amount of chips. The poker game continued until 2am on Sunday morning, even Tyron played on behalf of myself. I think he will have a nack for it when he becomes older.

We enjoyed ourselves and hope to go there again.
