2008 Easter with Family

Tyron and myself went to Polokwane to spend Easter with the family. We left on Thursday around 11am after picking up Bronwyn. The road was not as busy as I thought and we made it in just over 2 hours.

We first stopped at Modern Packaging, only Greg was there arranging some stock. My Dad arrived shortly and all was fun and games. Dropped my Dad off at Audi as there car was in for a service, then arrived at home, where my Mom was so happy to see us. I mean, she was happy and excited to see Tyron.

My Mom had set up an Easter goodies packet for each family member. My Mom does this for all special occasions and us kids love it. It was all nicely packed and displayed at the main door. When Tyron saw them, he got all excited but my Mom told him to wait until Easter. Even I was drooling, the chocolates we shouting “take and eat me”.

We had prawns on Good Friday and boy did we enjoy it. Tyron loves prawns, which was introduced by my parents. I told them that they are getting Tyron on the expensive foods. Our family loves prawns and we eat it on a regular basis.

On Saturday, the boys spent the day loading and off loading stock from Lotters Pine. My Dad got me to do some hard labour, which is a surprise considering I work in IT and am most of the time on my butt. My parents told Tyron that they would buy him a bicycle, so we went off to Game. They bought him a decent bicycle and he was so excited. He even put it together when he arrived back at the house. I had to take him for a ride, he needed some help as it has no side wheels. He will eventually get there.

Woke up on Sunday and Tyron was excited as he could eventually eat some of the Easter goodies, it took a while as we had to wait for Geraldine to get ready.My Mom had scattered the goodies all over the dinning room and lounge area for Tyron to find. He didn’t take too long, but he found them all. As you can see from the pictures below, he had a lot of goodies. We had to tell him that he couldn’t eat them all at once and had to take some home to show his Mom and Ouma.
