Entrecard Traffic - Quality or not

Hi guys and girls,
Is Entrecard giving you good quality traffic?
Thats not a hard one to answer. Since I started this Blog sometime ago, about over a year or so, I have had traffic to my site but the numbers were always very low. You could say that I was lucky if 100 people looked at my site in a calendar month.
After sometime of just surfing the net, I came across Entrecard. I thought it was just like the other sites that promised you loads of traffic and sales. Lately, there have been loads of these sites on the net, some working and others just a waste of time.
I will be honest here, it took me a couple of days before I tried out Entrecard. I can say that my traffic has increased dramatically due to dropping cards on other bloggers and getting them to drop on me. At this stage, my traffic ranges from 100-600 daily visitors. This is a huge difference to what it was before, I have done nothing else besides join Entrecard. The fact that people really do click on your site, the rest is up to me to keep them on my site. I do agree that a lot of bloggers out there have seen an increase in traffic.
Entrecard has somewhat changed the way we advertise and communicate with other blogs/websites. Newbie’s can establish themselves with the big names out there and it’s really easy to do. The features that Entrcard offer are way better than the rest. The community is thriving and continues to grow on a daily basis.
What does that mean for me? More traffic and sales for me.

I’ve been using Entrecard since July and I really like it. It’s helped me to come across some great blogs and get some people to visit my site. Entrecard is a great site.

Hi George,
I’ve been with entrecard almost 2 months and the increase in traffic is obvious!
The thing is - I dont get upset with the “bounce” rate because some days I’m busy and forced to drop and run, but other days I have time to read more and comment.
If our blogs are being viewed by more people we have more chances to get their attention - maybe not with every post but certainly with some.
The other big bonus is some of the great blogs I’ve found that I would not have otherwise.

As people use it more, the benefits will just increase.

Hello i am using EC too for many months now and i found out that my blogs getting a lot of traffic. They really help us this. Also one thing that will give you traffic if you host a contest, join a contest or sponsor a contest. Hhehe how about sponsoring a contest. I have a contest/giveaways going on in my blog and also i plan to have another contest this coming December. See you….TC

Nowadays, it’s basically time spent on dropping = traffic. In my opinion, they aren’t as effective as they were before.

I think EC is great especially when you are first getting started. As far as the quality of traffic, it is probably not the best because so many people are just dropping and not really reading but every little bit helps.

I’m starting to find out that many users spend roughly a few seconds on my site and then leave. I will be trying to get them to stay longer.

EC had made a difference. At first I did not appreciate the drop-and-run chore that I have to do. I like the increase in traffic though, so I kept dropping.
Soon, there were some visitors who became my loyal readers.
Now I’m trying other means of getting traffic. If EC gets down then I still have other means of driving traffic to my blog.

you are right in saying that you are now looking for alternative traffic. Some people are relying on EC to bring in the bulk of their traffic.

You’re welcome. Blogexplosion and EC are the easiest to use, but I am now exploring StumbleUpon and Digg.. and probably other bookmarking sites, and I hope I learn more about SEO too.
