    Hi guys,

Liverpool brought an end to Chelsea’s 86-match unbeaten record at home in the Premier League with a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea hadn’t been beaten at home since goals from Patrick Vieira and Edu gave Arsenal a 2-1 victory on February 2004.

Xabi Alonso scored the only goal of the match on 10 minutes when his shot took a deflection off José Bosingwa and wrong-footed Petr C(ech.

C(ech then kept the Blues in the match with a superb save from Steven Gerrard’s 25-yard stunner before Alonso saw his free-kick struck the post.

Liverpool leads Chelsea and Hull by three points in the table as manager Rafa Benitez seeks to end Reds’ 19-year quest for the title.
