I wanted to say thanks to all my loyal readers, family, blogger friends and visitors for making it possible to break the target of 5,000 comments before the end of 2009. It has been a hectic few months, but we pulled through and we made it with a few days to spare.
I think we did an awesome job and hope the next 6 months will be even better. Without every single one of you’s contributing in your own way, this target would of never been broken.
The blog has had some tough times whereby we had our ups and downs.
- 19 January 2009 – Page Rank 2 for Serradinho.com
- 3 April 2009 – Blog just JUMPED to PR3
- 29 May 2009 – Google LOVES me – Blog JUMPED to PR4
- 2 June 2009 – Serradinho reaches 1000 Comments Milestone
- 16 December 2009 – Serradinho Blog Approaching 5,000 Comments Milestone
My new target for mid 2010 is set to 10,000 comments. Yes, I would like to reach that target by June 2010. I think this target is attainable and I hope you will continue with me on this journey. I’m sure we can learn a lot from each other, lol.

Congrats bro! My blog has just reached the 5,000 comments milestone too, it’s 5,007 comments right now! Seems that our blog has almost similar stats, so now we work hard on 2010 and reach the 10,000 comments milestone together!
@Lee Ka Hoong – lets see who gets the 10k first, may the best blogger win. HA HA HA. I’m sure we will break that milestone together.
Haha no problem Serradinho, let’s working hard together! Honestly, when I made my blog a dofollow blog, the comments increased day by day, that would be a good sign but I spend more time in reading and approving comments.

@Senthil – I started blogging 2007, but I was not that active. I was just starting out and was getting to know my way around the net in blogging terms. I can honestly say that I started blogging properly middle of last year (2008).
I think my blog theme has changed more than 100 times from free and premium themes, funny hey? I’m currently using thesis theme from May 2009. You are right about the plugins and making my blog DoFollow, made a huge difference.
