Research and studies show that our children are growing bigger and fatter as each year goes by. Many families all over the world are struggling to keep the weight off their children within reasonable limits. As a parent, you know that it’s nearly impossible for a parent to look into the tear-filled eyes of my their children and refuse food.So, what’s the alternative?

ADHD refers to attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder.Children who suffer from this disorder suffer from attention problems as well as hyperactivity, I have met some children with ADHD and I can honestly say that they are way too active, even I get drained of all my energy.Parents with ADHD children are well aware that inattention and hyperactivity continue throughout the day. Keeping such children busy after school hours can be as difficult as keeping them safe during the school day.

As it is Good Friday today, I thought of giving you a bit of back ground as to what us Catholic’s do on this special day.The Roman Catholic Church treats Good Friday as a fast day, which in the Latin Rite Church is understood as having only one full meal (but smaller than a regular meal – often substituting meat with fish) and two collations (a smaller repast, two of which together do not equal one full meal).
