Comments are welcomed and encouraged here on Serradinho blog. We appreciate the time and effort you take to read our posts and to submit a comment. We would also like to mention that we do however monitor comments and schedule regular clean ups.
All webmasters try their best to combat spam and I’m on the exact same mission. To let the Serradinho community thrive through discussions relating to the post topic. Without your interaction and/or feedback, this blog would not be where it is today.
I do know that sometimes valid comments still get deleted, but that is when the webmaster makes a decision and sticks to it.
There are different standards for every website on the net today and we all need to repsect their rules and policies. That’s life and one has to deal with and learn as we are all different on so many levels that it’s not funny.
The Purpose of Comments:
Blog comments are what make a blog interactive and social. The most popular blogs have a very interactive community who voice their opinions on posts frequently.
It’s that social aspect that makes blogs such a powerful component of the social web. People like to feel involved. Leaving blog comments allows readers to join in on the conversation about a topic that interests them.
Comments will be edited or deleted as follows:
- Comments deemed to be spam or questionable spam will be deleted. Including a link to relevant content is permitted, but comments should be relevant to the post topic.
- Comments including profanity will be deleted.
- Comments containing language or concepts that could be deemed offensive will be deleted.
- Comments that attack a person individually will be deleted or edited.
- Comments that are overly complimentary and add no real value to the post topic or discussion.
- Comments that are just plain gibberish.
- Comments where the user is linking to a post/page via the website url.
If you have comments that have already been approved by me then you should not have a problem as all newer comments will automatically be approved.
How to Avoid Being Accused of Comment Spamming:
To avoid being accused of comment spam, only include links within your comments if they provide added value to the conversation. Links should be relevant and useful, and they should not be included in excess. Even links in a comment signature can be considered blog comment spamming.
Instead of including links within your comment, include your blog’s URL in the space provided when you enter your comment. On most blogs, your name will automatically link to the URL you enter when your comment goes live on the blog. This is a completely acceptable way of linking as part of commenting.
However, it’s also important that all comments you leave on blogs bring added value to the conversation or your comments will be disregarded and provide no real benefit for you or the blogging community.
The owner of this blog reserves the right to edit or delete any comments submitted to this blog without notice. This comment policy is subject to change at anytime.
