Ok, so WordPress 2.7 RC1 is available for download, I’m so happy and excited now. You can download it below.
WordPress - WordPress Version 2.7 RC1 (383) - 1.76 MBUpgrading from any previous WordPress to 2.7:
- Delete your old WP files, saving ones you’ve modified.
- Upload the new files.
- Point your browser to /wp-admin/upgrade.php.
- You wanted more, perhaps? That’s it!

I got a quick peek into this release and one big change is how the dashboard looks like. It is colorful and everything is just packed in. It has also that neat sidebar at the left containing all those Wordpress commands.
