Get my Laptop soon

BlakeConsultants - The Leading Experts in Biometric Access Control and Time & Attendance

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say that I’m getting my laptop soooooooooooooon. I can’t anymore. It’s almost driving me mad, icon smile Get my Laptop soon .

My brother, Gary, says he won’t tell me the specs. So I have to wait a bit longer until it arrives. A friend of mine is coming to visit SA. They are actaully South Africans staying in the UK, although they ahve been there for some time now.

Anyway, I told my brother that he has around 450 pounds to play around with. He is in IT, so I know I will get something good. I also sent him my minimum requirements.

Hi
I am expecting delivery of your laptop soon :)
One question i did have is whether you want it loaded with Windows Vista or XP?
Maybe a question to put on your BLOG.
It comes standard as Vista Home Premium but I know some people think Vista slow and prefer XP. The choice is yours as I have an extra XP license.

Thanks Gary, I will post it and see what they say. I have only been working on XP.

XP or VIsta has been the ongoing battle of OS issues for Microsoft users for a long time now, guess it is a question of what your computer’s specs are and what you will be using it for. Also a question of security and how long is Microsoft going to support the XP platform. :) I on a personal level go for Vista Ultimate. But the Memory it requires from my Hard drive is murderous :) heheh

Thanks Metz – this is a tough one. I know many people using Vista and have ongoing battles.

Go for XP~! My desktop came with Vista Basic and I changed back to XP after few hours using vista. I have what I need in XP so, that’s why.

I was thinking the same.
