I think it's unlimited. Blogs can never get enoguh promotion. The more promotion the more backlinks and traffic. You need to continually market your blog to keep traffic steady. I'll refer anyone who wanna customise theirs to you. Back to the post, I think when a new blog start it need to not be in a hurry to just bombard with articles. Better keep it slow and promote at same time. Then once it reaches a good stage, then thee can increase the post count but still promotion must not stop.
