It’s my birthday and I just hit the BIG 30

I thought it would be nice if I wrote a post to say Happy Birthday to myself as I have just reached the big milestone of 30. Can you believe it, 30 down and at least another 30 is on the cards for me

So what are my plans?

I sometimes use to take the day off at work, but this year I have decided to work and take off the 9th which is a Friday. I have arranged a party at my Uncle’s farm for the whole weekend.

Friday will be with close friends and the Saturday and Sunday will be for friends and family and who ever arrives. I sent out many SMS’s and a few have said they will be coming while others just did not reply. I guess I will have to wait and see who comes.

So, what have I learned or have to show from my 30 years on planet Earth:

1. I have a loving and supportive family as everyone else does I’m sure.
2. I have a beautiful son – Tyron.
3. I have a nice car which is already paid off.
4. I have a nice hobby toy (off road bike).
5. I have many friends that support me.
6. I was married and got divorced so I have a bit of experience to share with others, lol.
7. I have a decent job which pays me well.
8. I have many blogger friends which visit my blog on a regular basis. I have made many connections with others.
9. Made a bit of money from blogging. Not as much as I would like, but I am on the right track.
10. Have a nice DVD collection consisting of over 100 different movies.
11. Have my own laptop.
12. Been overseas on holiday (UK and Madeira) – maybe need to go on more holidays.
13. I feel fit and able to play most sports.
14. Feel very satisfied that I have come so far in work after not attending university.
15. Respected in work environment by employer and employees.
16. Learned that hard work pays off – talking about my blog and all.
17. There are three kinds of women. The first is the abuser (had one), the second is the user (also had one – actually the same person) and then third is the fantasy women (still to meet).
18. Love building puzzles as it relaxes me. Ok, sometimes I do get frustrated, but who doesn’t?
19. I can accomplish most tasks if I put my mind to it.
20. Been on three ships cruises which I will never forget.
21. Had some great parties which have stayed with me for years.
22. Learned PHP and CSS myself, self taught after many months of struggling.
23. and the list would carry on if I continued …..

Final Thought

I have tried to tell myself not to get too drunk this weekend, but that will be hard as my friends will probably try and feed me all kinds of drinks. I need to be able to handle myself in front of my family.
