My help on Max Banner Ads – No 1

Hi all,

I’m no pro at web stuff, but have learned a bit of this and that. I am going to show you how to make Max Banner Ads by maxblogpress.com work all over your site. This is my first post showing how to add zones and banners. I know the new release will have the upgrades for mine and others help, but I just love this plugin and want to help others make this the best ever.

My writing skills are not 100%, but I will do my best to help out where I can.

How to add zones and banners

Creating a Zone

1. Go to Manage and then select Max Banner Ads
2. Click on the Add New Zone button
3. Enter your zone name
4. Select the box for Show as Widget
5. Clicks on More Options
6. Put in the number of banners it must show
7. Click Save

Please see the image below for the details I entered. This is just an example.

Adding banners to a Zone

1. Once you have created a zone click on the link by the wording No Banners Added Yet! Add Now…
2. Enter banner name
3. Enter image details
4. Enter url details (the link to advert)
5. Then you must select under which zone this banner falls
6. Click Save

Please see the image below for the details I entered. This is just an example.

You should see your banner image and the details relating to impressions, clicks, click ratio, etc. Please see the image below to see how your zone must look like after you have added some banners. You will see I have added two banners and their details are set to zero. You can do alot with the banners like edit, reset stats or delete.

You can repeat as much as you like. Your options are unlimited. I must mention that maybe in a future release this screen will be using collapsable javascript showing the zones. When you have a lot of banners and zones, the page becomes very long.
