Serradinho.com Wishing You all a Merry Christmas

I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas for 2009 and hope that all your dreams have come true. This is a time to celebrate what Jesus did for us all and to be with family and friends. Ok, to be with anyone who loves you and that you love too.

This is a special day to my family and we are spending this year at the coast at our holiday spot. Gary has come down from the UK and we will all be together as a family again. It’s been a long time since my parents have spent Christmas with all us kids under the same roof. I guess the presents will not be that big this year, due to space available when we travel. We might hand them out before the trip, still checking whats the best option.

One of the presents for Tyron from me this year is his first plane flight, we flew from Pretoria to Durban. It will be a memory with me, his Dad that he will remember and treasure. I do still have another small present for him, just to make him feel special and loved for today. It’s not as expensive as the plane flight, but he will still be happy.

Back in the days ….

In the past our family would gather at one of our relative’s houses where each family would be responsibile for a small dish that they have prepared solely for this occassion. May it be for the main meal or for desert, it was all the same.

Once all the dishes are gathered, it’s a feast fit for any king. There are always left overs which is great in my case. It means that I don’t really have to cook the next day, abig bonus

Gratitude and Thanks …

I would like to thank everyone that was involved in Serradinho Blog this year. It would not be possible without my subscribers, visitors and blogger freinds who visited and took the time to contribute. May your Christmas day be a wonderful day.

We have all made this blog a success and I am grateful for the effort.

Tyron’s present to me ….

I’m also a very happy father as Tyron has already given me his Christmas present this year. It was him passing Grade 1 at school and now he will be moving up to Grade 2. A precious gift which any father would love and appreciate.

I hope you all enjoy the day and that you make that special someone smile and feel loved.
