So, I had a look at a site and saw some cool buttons floating on the left hand side. I thought it would be nice if I could replicate the same effect on my site. At that stage I currently had a floating Twitter badge and even posted about how how to get it on your site.

I was checking out how I would manually diplay future scheduled posts on my homepage with the Thesis theme after checking out the WordPress plugin Display Scheduled Posts and came up with the following solution.
I have nothing against the author of the plugin, but I like to keep my list of plugins installed to a minimum and this is one way to do so. I actually downloaded the plugin and checked how it was done .....
