Some might have noticed the changes to the layout and design of Serradinho. I have been busy with last few days with it and trying my best to make my blog as unique as possible.
This will be a short post just to note down what I have done and I hope you all like the new look.
Ok, so have I done the following:
- Changed the top menu to have a few links and search box on the right.
- Added a background image to the blog – let me know what you think of it.
- Added extra links on homepage, archive, category and posts pages (opinions, add opinion, etc).
- Changed links when hovering over them to be dark blue with white font.
- Changed my footer to have minimal links and no widgets.
- Added posts tags at the bottom of posts.
- Sidebar widget styling – changed the background and small things within the widget area.
- Updated author bio to include link to author posts as well as a link to their website.
- Added small banner ads below the comment form.
- Changed the styling of trackbacks from other sites – background and font colour.
Final Thought
Although I have not posted much, I have been busy with the layout of the blog. I hope the changes are liked by both the readers and new comers. Your feedback would be appreciated, so be sure to leave your opinion below.

It’s amazing how often you change design/layout/images/colors on your site hehe, I’m almost confused every other time I visit cause it looks different

@Klaus – yes, I agree with you that I change it often. At this stage, I think I will keep this layout for the next couple of weeks or so, lol.
This theme is okay for me.

I like this theme as well, you do indeed change your theme quite often, but that doesn’t bother me.

The new design is awesome. But I think, the old homepage with a magazine look was pretty good. What was the decision behind changing the old homepage. I like the blog post layout with the background

Yeah I am watching your activities on your blog.Nice look buddy,but you need to change custom CSS with proper color combination.
Try to match the colors of Fonts,Sidebar and other areas.

It looks really good George. Especially the body background image. To be frank I miss your eye catchy footer. Your design always rocks. I see that you have changed the header image width as well.

I am trying to make it simplier and cleaner so it will be changing a bit in the next few days. I think my usual readers always know that my blog changes a lot, never seem to be happy, lol.
You sound like me. My blog also changes a lot. Now I’m saving for thesis theme. Can’t wait to play with thesis theme. I want to be thesis modifier like you too
The Changes Are good but I have few suggestions:
*Bring back the Fat Footer, It really looks good and helps in many ways.
*The 3 bid boxes below the posts are not looking good as they take too much space and sometimes it looks bigger than the post. You leave the author box as it is and should play with the other two boxes. You can show them as a partition or in some other way by making it look sleak.
*I think it’s time to re-design a new logo for your new thesis based blog.
