I would like to mention that my site has just reached my 1000th comment milestone 
I’m very happy as I thought it would take much longer for me to reach that total. I have been trying out a few methods of getting people to comment here and some have worked and some not. Believe me when I say that this is a trial and error situation. As I write this post, my total site comments is standing at 1013.
What I can say is that after installing CommentLuv and DoFollow plug-ins, that the number of comments increased dramatically. I also love to comment on sites with these plug-ins installed, you can leave a constructive comment and get some LUV back to your site.
I have to also mention that not all commentators on my site have a gravatar and that somewhat surprises me. I wrote about it sometime ago and I would say that the percentage of with a gravatar has increased to around 85% now. You can read more about gravatars in my previous post, Do you have a Gravatar?

As my site has developed, my page rank has also increased and I’m very proud to say that it is at PR 4 now. Google has just recently updated their page ranks so be sure to go check what your site’s page rank is now. I would love to hear how your site has developed over the last year or two.
I think my Downloads page has some what got to do with my ranking with categories like PLR Articles, eBooks, Images & Graphics and then of course WordPress. I currently have just under 800 download files with total hits amounting to over 45,000.
That is an achievement by itself, as I offer free downloads from my site and I never expected to have so many hits. This was my way of giving back to the community that helped me out so much.
I think the biggest thanks must go to my commentators and subscribers, who have followed me for the last couple of months. My page rank would never have been so high and my site would of been bare if it wasn’t for them. You guys and girls mean a lot to me and I appreciate it.

I used to have a dofollow top commentator but I took it out due to increasing “spammy” comments

@Michael – I do get spam, but not as much as I use to in the past. I delete some comments when they have 4 words or less, it depends what they comment.
