If you have never played Sudoku before because, well maybe you find it hard to solve the puzzle, you need to give the latest Finger Arts release a try. It will definitely get you hooked on to it with the more interactive gameplay and much easier puzzles.

Unlike other Sudoku games, Sudoku 2 is simple enough. It even has a very easy mode made for the novice players which is called flash mode.

To start the game, you just have to tap the play button. After that, you will be shown a board and numbers on your side or the bottom. You just have to tap the number and the tile on the board where you want to place your number.

Once the number is placed, other tiles of the same number will be highlighted with green. It really helps in solving the puzzle fast. If you just want to highlight the same number tiles, you only need to tap the number and all the other tiles will be highlighted.

If you get stuck, you can tap the hint button to get the hint for the next suggested move. However, you are only allowed three hints per game. Also, you are allowed three mistakes per game that don’t count against your score. This really helps since on iPad, people may even tap the numbers accidentally.

It has OpenFeint integration which means you can play games while save your scores online. You can boast off your scores to your friends who are also hooked on to Sudoku using this feature.

Sudoku 2 HD Pro has game options like volume level and sound button. Also, you can turn off the green highlight option if you are comfortable without it. You can even change the tiles and the look of the game.

Sudoku 2 HD Pro is available in the App Store for only $2.99.

I’m not a fan of Sudoku, but this looks easy enough for even the likes of me. I may just have to try it.
