Wow, this week is flying past and I have so many tasks still to complete. I have helped a few people recently and am trying my best to help others out as well. I have mentioned people that have posted about me, updates to the site and some statistics.

Updates to site
- Killer footer – this footer is widgetized and it makes it so much easier for me to add and remove details.
- We are finally opened for guest posting so grab this opportunity to get some extra exposure.
- I was waiting for a new header image as I won a prize in SmartBloggerz Idol Comment Contest. I won’t mention the name of the site, but I received two emails from the designer and I must say that I’m very upset and I actually told them to leave it.
- Changed my social bookmarking cans at the bottom of each post. I liked the cans, but I was getting bored with them.
- Just installed a WordPress plugin called page-peel. I have tested this plugin before and now I am testing it again. This is after reading a post at Extreme John’s site. You can see this plugin in the top right hand corner of the site.
- Added top commentators plugin to reward those who comment a lot and to give more love to you all.
- Fixed up my about page – it needed some TLC.
- Made my sidebar less cramped – hope you like it.
- Changed my boxes on top below my header to use widgets as well.
I know I have made multiple changes to my theme in the last few weeks and I hope you all don’t mind. I just feel that I need to improve it to a level that shows you all my talent and love for my blog, lol.
Milestones reached
I also checked and saw that my free downloads have received more than 60,000 hits in total. That is a high number even for me and I never thought it would be possible at all, but it is. I have set a new goal for the end of this year of 80,000. I hope I can get close to that number. It works out to be around 143 downloads per day, I have my fingers crossed for this
I wrote a post in the beginning of June about Serradinho having 1000 comments and I’m glad to announce that we currently have +2300 comments and that number is climbing every day.
That is just amazing as we have more than doubled in over 2 and a half months. My stats on spam has climbed to over 6800. Yes, I still seem to get a few here and there I don’t mind the spam as it’s not much and I know spammers will always find a way.
I also would like to take this opportunity to say that Serradinho has breached the 600 mark for posts published. I have more posts already scheduled for this and next month, but this is a great milestone for me. I have enjoyed all the posts and hope you have too. If not, let me know as all feedback is welcomed as usual.

I was going to mention the other day that I love the new footer. Looks great. Page peel is cool too. Actually the overall look of the site looks great, except for maybe your header logo, which you say is being created. Looking forward to seeing it.

I am relatively new to your blog and has commented only 2 to 3 time. So I am not really in for which things have really changed lol. However I find the peel really cool. I always loved that innovative ads technique and the best is that you are using it for your blog guest post and that’s a wise way of using this cool space.
As for the “Follow me” badge at the right..which plugin do you use for that? I have to add a Twitter link on both my blogs and am looking for something non obtrusive as this badge.
