If you have logged into your WordPress admin area, you will have noticed that there is news about WordPress 2.8 RC1 that is available. It seems the new version of WordPress 2.8 might be here on the 10th of June if all goes well with the release candidate.
The new features are just awesome and you can read more about it on my previous post, Test WordPress Beta 1. If you want to download the release candidate, you can do so by clicking here.

@Sandeep – always backup your database before upgrading, just in case something goes wrong. If the upgrade goes wrong then you could always upload the files via FTP.
I have upgraded already, it was easy and with out problems!
